I have not done much campaigning recently, due to bereavement and work pressures, but am delighted to be standing as the Liberal Democrat candidate for Bramber Castle in the County Elections this May. I am, of course, hoping to shoulder the heavy responsibility of carrying on the good work that Derek Deedman has done for many years now.
There is a strong Lib Dem group on the County Council, and with support from them and Derek, I will be in a good position to press for investments in maintenance and safety improvements for our local roads, lend support to local – and at present fragile – small businesses, press for further investment and joined-up thinking in the area of care for the elderly and vulnerable… and much more.
Above all, I will keep you all informed of what I do, and what you can do to stay in touch and help our small but worthwihle community to grow and prosper.
